Michael told me it was a miracle this many people showed up.
Michael's family told me they were amazed why so many people were willing to sacrifice their holiday to come help his son. (many of them did not even know Mike before this trip, i.e. friends of friends).
Evelyn (Hope Melbourne) showed up and got to know Nicole and Jianwei. Nicole and Jianwei also got to know more NUS Overseas College interns and are beginning to connect post event.
Was heart warming to see Michael initiated me saying grace for the entire table (9 + his family) before we have our dinner. (Mike's family is catholic)
Many enjoyed themselves and said they are looking forward to come back to help for a second round. A team even decided to change plans and stay over at Mike's parents' place so that they can help for a second day the day after.
I think God showed up that day. Believers and non-believers alike, experienced Godly love and community.
Let's keep this community in prayers and for the spirit to move and minister to every single one who showed up.
