1st Caregrp

Definitely struggled to put this first kickoff together. Only secured a place 5 days before the meeting. Fear that no one will come judging from response of evite. Went in circles when trying to put a meaningful study together. Wonder if people in Stanford wonder why I look busy when I'm not contributing as much to the team.

But a sense of peace and purpose came to me the night before the launch. It is going to be worth it.

Indeed it has been. 5 person came for the group. Had a pretty good ice breaker game where people shared deeper things than usual. Colin did praise and worship which was a great relief for me. Study went fairly ok (i think i should improve in not jumping into deep questions too abruptly). Study for the night was "Why does the world need Jesus?". (we are on a "Why Jesus, Know Jesus, Love Jesus" Series) Challenge for the group is: how much do you believe Jesus can take care of your every need. What is the area you find it hard to see this come to pass. And pair up to pray in faith and in power of Holy Spirit for this area to come to pass.
