I ask myself this question prayerfully as I am going through this period of fasting and praying (though i have been not very disciplined)
Why should this group exist? (my answers)
1. To do our part to build strong and biblical people, the way I know how to, everywhere I go.
2. Jesus is the hope of man. The local church is the hope of the world

Yup! The last words of Jesus and vision of our church too - Matt 28:18-20. Pray that you have a fruitful time seeking God. Nothing is as important as seeking God for a personal conviction. :)

though i must admit there are times when I am very challenged.
Yes, I understand. Especially when you are alone. I feel very challenged many times in Ecuador too. Generally there is not much support when it comes to church planting. Starting a caregroup alone over there is a difficult task. Maybe you need to take a short break from what you are doing - to rest and seek God for His direction. If you need a listening ear, we can talk over Skype one of these days. Take care and guard your relationship with God. :)
